Psychedelic Sunset hair dye is a radiant, fiery orange color that creates warm hues in the hair. This semi-permanent hair dye is tested on celebrities, not animals, and is vegan and cruelty-free. It is also free of PPD, ammonia, parabens, gluten, resorcinol, and phthalates.

The dye is fortified with conditioners that add moisture to pre-lightened hair and comes ready-to-use. It lasts 4-6 weeks on pre-lightened hair. To achieve the best results, we recommend lightening your hair to a light level 8 blonde or lighter before using this dye.

• Do I have to pre-lighten my hair before coloring? Applying Manic Panic hair color to pre-lightened hair will ensure vibrant results. We recommend lightening your hair to a pale blonde (level 9-10) for the most intense results.

• How can I lighten my hair before applying Manic Panic dye? We offer three bleach kits: Blue Lightning 30 Vol, Flash Lightning 30 Vol, and Flash Lightning Amplified 40 Vol. These kits will lighten your hair according to the instructions provided.

• How can I achieve a pastel shade? You can blend our Mixer/Pastel-izer with any color to achieve a lighter, pastel tint. Use a whole jar of Pastel-izer with just a few drops of your desired color for best results.

• What is the difference between semi-permanent and permanent hair color? Semi-permanent hair color is gentler and does not contain harmful chemicals. Manic Panic partially penetrates the hair shaft with smaller color molecules compared to permanent hair color, which contains ammonia and requires peroxide to bond with the hair shaft. Our product is gentle and does not require a developer.

How to Dye Your Hair:

1. Wash your hair with a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo, avoiding conditioner.
2. Dry your hair with a blow dryer to ensure it is porous.
3. Put on gloves and thoroughly saturate your hair with Manic Panic Hair Color using a tint brush.
4. Comb through the hair to ensure even application.
5. Cover your hair with a plastic cap and leave the dye on for 30-45 minutes. For more intensity, apply heat.
6. Rinse with cool water until the water runs clear. Do not shampoo.
7. Style your hair as desired, ensuring it is completely dry to prevent color transfer.

Pro Tip: Use a hair dryer to apply heat evenly for 5-10 minutes during the processing time. This will help the color penetrate the hair strand. Allow the hair to cool before rinsing out the color.
